League Information

Overview:

The Saratoga Pony baseball league consists of three levels of play; Pony, Colt and Palomino.

  • Pony is for players who are 13 or 14 years old.
  • Colt is for players who are 15 or 16 years old.
  • Palomino is for players who are 17 or 18 years old. Also a team can have a limited number of 19 year-olds playing.

A player’s League Age for a season is their chronological age on April 30. For example, if a player turns 17 on April 15, he would be considered league age 17, since he is 17 on April 30. If he turns 17 on May 15, he would be considered league age 16, since he is 16 on April 30. You can view the 2009 table for age cut-off.
